Ive called 4 times now to the marble falls location to get my results the first time a lady answered didn't take my name but said she would look in the back for my results and then my call was forwarded to an empty line that hung up on me the second third and fourth time I called I'd hear the last say hello thank you for calling Baylor Scott and white and not even a half second later say hello caller and then hang up on me. I will never use your services again pick a different staff or keep losing patient's I'm very disappointed i heard such great things but your front counter staff needs to learn how to work a phone.
If the way I was misled is not criminal, it's certainly unethical. I would not suggest anyone use the specialty clinic without first obtaining written confirmation of the total fees to be collected and how they will be billed to insurance. I hope someone can learn from my misplaced trust in this office.
Please don't bother posting your bitly link canned response either. You have my patient information and phone number. Call me and fix this and I'll update my review.
This is the slowest place ever. And they put their patients in the waiting room. My husband CE in with a broken foot 2 and half hours ago and still haven't given him ibprophen or anything. Have ask several times. We will never come back here.
My dad was recently admitted for emergency surgery. He's had a very good experience and I can personally vouch for the compassion and care that the nurses and doctors have given to him. The hospital is lovely. I would entrust my family's care here anytime. (I don't know anything about the billing, which seems to be the main complaint here. My experience with billing at other hospitals has generally been a pain in the ... so it may just be part of working with insurance companies, etc.)
The way I have been misled and billed for procedures I did not request or approve is borderline fraudulent. I have BCBS insurance and was charged my co-pay to see a doctor in the specialty clinic. After paying that, I received additional bills for "outpatient services" and "general hospital services" although I did not go to the hospital, only the specialty clinic. My insurance company explained that I was being charged for the "room fee" to see my doctor, meaning that a simple visit cost over $200 WITH INSURANCE. I was never told this. Additionally, the doctor performed a "procedure" on me that consisted of sticking a camera up my nose for 10-15 seconds. I was not asked if I wanted this or told I would be charged an additional fee, but now I am. I've contacted the billing department and they insist there are no mistakes even though I've been charged two different "room rates" when I was seen both times in literally the same room. I've spent multiple hours on the phone and am now dealing with almost $500 in unexpected bills for two simple doctor's visits.
Again thank y'all so much ;)
I had ankle surgery today and the stuff was so sweet from the time we walked in to sign in to the time we left the hospital receptionist nurses and of Dr. Williams were all to sweet. I thank and appreciate each and everyone of you. God Bless you all and keep doing what you do to make every patient feel good !!
