I purchased a used car from Gilliam on 3 Jun 16. On 4 Jun I took the car back because the brake pedal was squeaking and the rear brakes. At waiting for a couple of hours for the repairs. I was informed by Ariel Delagarza that the car was fixed. While leaving the dealership, I noticed that the car was doing the same thing (squeaky brake pedal and brakes). I turned around and took the car back and told Ariel, that she told me that the car was repair, yet it was still doing the same thing. She then called Joshua Lopez and he stated that the car needed some type of bearing and the squeaky rear brakes was because they were non-Nissan breaks. Ariel tells me that she would order whatever the car needed and it should be in on Wed (Jun 8). I have yet to hear back from this dealership. I even contacted the sales guy Val Panayotov on Jun 13, and explained everything to him as well. Val told me that he would talk to the service manager and everything would be taken care of and that he would call me later on that evening. I have yet to hear back from him as well. I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone. I think this a stall tactic, don't you have so many days to return a car???
I have bought two vehicles there, they have always been fair
I have purchased 2 vehicles from them, and both have lasted. They are strict, but as long as you're not late, you won't have any problems. Great for people with less than perfect credit. Always know what to look for in a used car before purchasing.
I'm quite surprised by some of the previous reviews. Mr. Gilliam has been nothing but helpful in, not only the buying experience, but in maintaining my vehicles as well. He is more than fair and his only request is that you honor the contract that, you as the buyer, has agreed to. My family has purchased 5 vehicles in all and will continue to purchase from him. I strongly recommend this dealership!!
If I could give zero stars I would! He sells crap vehicles that he's bandaided together. We bought a truck from him and he said he had replaced the brakes and shocks and checked everything over with a fine tooth comb. Everything was good for about a week. That's when the brake caliper fell off. When we took it to a trusted mechanic and asked what happened the mechanic informed us that the caliper had been glued on recently. Funny since we had been told that the brakes had been replaced. Nope those brakes were not new, neither were the shocks, and parts had been glued on just so it would last until the vehicle was sold. Mr. Gilliam is rude to customers and doesn't have any people skills. He's definitely in the wrong business! DO NOT BUY VEHICLES FROM THIS MAN!
