This place is pefect for anyone who wants to take a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We went here for the first time on Thanksgiving Camp and we can't be more than happy. It was the best choice to spend out 4-day weekend. The place is peaceful and there is a good balance of activities, relaxation and devotion time. We are definitely coming back.
The Best Christian Camp! My parents met at Camp Peniel in 1948. I attended every summer from 1979-1983. All my kids go every summer and my oldest is a counselor. Can't recommend it enough! Your kids will love it!

I was a camper here in the early 80s and absolutely loved it. Despite my wonderful experience here, I was so nervous when I dropped my daughter off for her first sleepover camp experience last summer. My concerns were completely unfounded. The only tears she cried were when we had to leave the camp. She claimed it was "the best week of her life" despite a rather expensive vacation we took that summer! The counselors were awesome. They really connected with her. She loved the programs, the extra activities, the bonds she developed with her cabinmates. More importantly, she seemed on fire for Jesus when we picked her up. I couldn't have been happier with her camp experience.
